A couple weeks ago Palm Avenue Charleston, Charleston's local Lilly Pulitzer store, had their grand re-opening party. This great store right on King Street closed it's door's for a few weeks while they invited some of the Lilly team to come and help them spruce up the interior. The store turned out gorgeous, with a lot of great "Charleston" touches that I highlighted in this post. They had originally planned a grand re-opening party for when the Lilly jeep was touring but due to the icy bad weather, they rescheduled it for March! The sweet managers at Palm Avenue had asked me to model some of the spring dresses for the event and of course I couldn't say no! :)
The super sweet, gorgeous, and incredibly talented Christina (also known as Miss South Carolina 2014!) modeled with me and, for one of the first times, I actually felt kind of short next to her (she's only about 2 inches taller than me, but that doesn't happen often!) We had so much fun getting to try some of the new spring dresses Katie and Erin picked out for us and mingling with the Palm Avenue girls and the Lilly girls that traveled down from the Pink Palace for the event.

After spending a few hours mingling with all of the ladies and eyeing some pretty things, I was definitely feeling this quote! Not only did I not want to leave, but I didn't want to leave empty handed!
I loved the fit and style of the Janice dress and decided to buy it for a wedding I was attending the following weekend. It was so comfortable and the Shorely Blue was a perfect spring color!

Thanks to all of the ladies at Palm Avenue for hosting such a fun event!
Love that dress, in both colors, on you!
