Bloomingdale's Friends & Family Sale

Bloomingdale's Friends & Family sale is on now, which means 20% off of some of your favorite brands with code FRIENDS. I've handpicked some of my favorite staples for fall and have done the math so you can see what each item would cost with the discount! Can you tell I've been loving some leopard print lately?! These Reva flats are at the top of the my wish-list but unfortunately Bloomy's is out of my size. I love the classic look of this Ralph Lauren satchel, and think it would look great with one of these plaid scarves and boots for an easy pulled together fall look!

Moon and Lola Blogger Night

I can't believe today is the last day of September!! This month has flown by and the last few weeks have been extra busy (which you may have noticed from my lack of regularly scheduled blog posts) while I've had my family in town, moved back downtown, and started a new part time job! Lots of little changes here and there are happening between now and the upcoming months that I'm excited about and also a little scared for since I don't always adjust to change so well... I've learned though that nothing ever stays the same so you've got to live in the present and embrace every day as it comes!

On another note, I have loved getting to meet and spend time with some of the wonderful ladies in the Charleston blogging community lately. A few weeks ago I attended an ice cream social at Ro Sham Beaux and last week Gillian hosted us at Moon and Lola for a fun after-hours event!
Thanks again Gillian and the girls from Moon and Lola for having all of us!

Navy for Fall

Getaway Quilted Vest (Porter Henley Top and Worth Skinny Jeans to complete the look) // Sueded Mocs (under $25!)

Navy is always one of the most predominate colors in my wardrobe, and though it's usually a color I wear the most in the spring and summer, I've been drawn to lots of navy pieces for fall too. It's a perfect transitional color for those of us that are still enjoying highs in the 80's these last few weeks. What are some of your favorite navy items for fall?

Charleston Blogger Social

On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending a Charleston Blogger Ice Cream Social at Ro Sham Beaux hosted by the fabulous team at Rutledge Social. It was a busy weekend full of moving (yay for being back downtown!!) so it was nice to take a little break and pop into this gorgeous shop and see lots of wonderful people! We sipped some delicious and creative drinks from Flute (the cucumber lemonade was so refreshing!) and enjoyed some Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream. It was great to finally get a chance to meet some of the people we had only "known" online and catch up with some others that I had met before! As you'll see from some photos below, I was smitten with all of the gorgeous chandeliers from Ro Sham Beaux and if you aren't familiar with them, I highly recommend you check them out here or visit the store on Broad Street!

Charleston Charm: East Bay Street

A few weeks ago I was out and about for a walk downtown on one of the most gorgeous mornings (it was Robbie's birthday too so it was an extra happy day!) and I'm SO glad I had my camera with me on this walk. This may be one of my favorite collections of "Charleston Charm" photos on the blog so far, East Bay Street towards the Battery is just one of the prettiest areas in my opinion!

P.S. Don't forget to tell your loved ones how you feel and share some extra love today, as we remember those who lost their lives 13 years ago on this tragic day. XOXO

Emily Ley on One King's Lane

One of my favorite bloggers and stationery designers, Emily Ley, is featured on One King's Lane's "Beauty at Work" boutique today! I love the products in her shop, and am always looking for some inspiring words and pretty prints to brighten up my workspace. Other than Emily's fabulous pieces, I'm also loving this set of coastal notecards,  these faux hydrangeas,  set of mint julep cups, and of course these  "tickled pink" flamingo notecards!
