I clearly had a specific "Southern gent" in mind when I made this gift guide, because all of these items are so Robbie... but hopefully you also have a certain Southern gent in your life that would love these items as well! Whether it's your man, your dad or even brother, these items would all make wonderful gifts for any guy in your life!
Happy December (*rabbit rabbit*) friends!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with their friends and family! As some of you may have seen on Instagram, I had an especially great one this year - probably the best one yet... Robbie asked me to marry him!!! We are SO excited and I can't wait to share more on that soon but since these next few weeks are going to be quite busy with work, lots of traveling for BFF and family time, and the beginning stages of wedding planning (yay!!!) you may have to bear with me as my posts may start to dwindle.
Luckily though, this week I already had some Gift Guides all ready to go so I'm still here for all of your Christmas shopping needs! My first one today is what I would ask for on a dream Christmas list, though my family and friends know that I already have gotten everything I ever could have wanted this year when Robbie put that ring on my finger the night before Thanksgiving! :)
Every year, for as long as I can remember, my family has had a tradition of opening up one gift on Christmas Eve after church... our Christmas jammies! Can you believe Christmas Eve is just one month away?!
Now that we've tackled your Thanksgiving decor and attire, we're ready to start deciding on some recipes to make for your Thanksgiving feast! Luckily I won't have to worry about cooking a turkey by myself this year but I'm hoping to cook up some veggies and desserts to contribute to our Thanksgiving!
Before I start sharing my gift guides with you all this holiday season, I've put together a collection of items you can use to start celebrating the holiday season as soon as you want to! It is my favorite time of the year because so why not celebrate for as long as we can?! I can't wait to break out my holiday tartan shirts, "Robbie Red" skinny jeans, sweet reindeer-ings and light my favorite Christmas candle, but I'm trying to hold out until after Thanksgiving... luckily it's only about a week away! I've broken down some of the items in the holiday shop into their separate categories but you can find them all here!
{one} Veteran's Day was on Tuesday and it was a great chance to reflect on those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. I loved seeing these flags living Lockwood Drive and reminding everyone that drove by how majestic our flag is and all the things it stands for.

{two} If you all happened to catch my Giving Thanks post this week you may recognize a few things from the collage above... which all happened to be part of flash sales happening before Thanksgiving! Check out Haymarket Designs and Furbish Studio's instagrams for more info!

{three} Change is the only constant of life. Carly wrote a great post about change a few months ago and now as the seasons start to really change (it's supposed to be freeezing tonight!!) and we're halfway through November (where in the world does the time go?!) it's a good reminder that life doesn't stop for anyone and we constantly have to adapt to next thing that God puts in our path. I've been blessed with some great opportunities in my life and always have to remind myself nothing ever stays the same, so we all should be sure to live in the moment and embrace each day as it comes!

This Coral Me Crazy Elsa of the month is one of my favorites yet. I have a bikini in this print from years ago but I'm dying for this top! I always seem to love anything and everything turquoise and coral... P.S. Have y'all checked out even more new arrivals from Lilly?! Loving this tshirt dress (similar to the one I wore yesterday) and this one for the holidays! Oh and more vests!!
{five} Kate Spade has lots of pretty new arrivals just in time for the holidays! Whether it's a pretty sequin dress (love the name of this skirt) for your holiday party, a festive clutch to hold your essentials, the perfect holiday hostess gift to accompany your bottle of bubbly, or a great couples Christmas gift- Kate Spade has got you covered! And... even better, 25% off your order with code BEMERRY through Sunday November 16!
Hoping to do some more holiday shopping- whether it's a gift for others, or for yourself I won't tell! :)
As usual, I'm getting very excited for Thanksgiving this year (which was probably clear from this post yesterday) but it's always one of my favorite holidays with my family. This will be the first year that I won't be spending our actual Thanksgiving dinner with my family since Robbie and I will be sharing the long weekend between each of our families, so Thursday we will be with his family.
With the anticipation of the holiday, always comes the excitement of planning an outfit for the day. In my mind I'm thinking something along the lines of a sweater dress with maybe a faux fur vest and boots. I've gathered a few dresses that I think would fit the bill... of course keeping in mind that since I'll be eating a lot, I'll want to make sure I don't choose anything too restricting! ;)
It's been a while since I've shared a Monogram Monday post but since today is Lilly Pulitzer's birthday (see my post yesterday for more Lilly birthday fun!) so I wanted to share some of my favorite pullovers from the Sweet Tea Monograms shop.
These monogrammed pullovers are great for any Lilly lover, because you can be creative and mix and match the different fabrics (I just added lots of new options!) with the different color threads and pullovers! They run true to size and are a women's cut so they are more figure flattering than some styles that have an elastic waistband. For reference, I'm wearing a small in this photo though I have some in medium for a more relaxed, longer fit and usually wear a 4/6 in most clothing!
This weekend kicks off the celebration of Lilly's birthday!! Their website has been counting down all week as they have been sharing some fun quotes, illustrations, and history behind the brand. If you have been following my blog, you may know that I am a major Lilly lover so clearly I have been enjoying these little peeks behind what makes the Lilly brand what it is and wanted to share some with you all!
Lilly has just released their newest Resort collection and through Monday will be giving away special gifts with purchase! I've mentioned before how I love the Resort line but the bright prints and colors are sometimes a little harder to wear this time of year. I've created two different looks featuring some of my favorite new items that can easily take the resort items and make them more wearable all year round!
