Monogram Monday: Lilly Monograms

It's been a while since I've shared a Monogram Monday post but since today is Lilly Pulitzer's birthday (see my post yesterday for more Lilly birthday fun!) so I wanted to share some of my favorite pullovers from the Sweet Tea Monograms shop.

These monogrammed pullovers are great for any Lilly lover, because you can be creative and mix and match the different fabrics (I just added lots of new options!) with the different color threads and pullovers! They run true to size and are a women's cut so they are more figure flattering than some styles that have an elastic waistband. For reference, I'm wearing a small in this photo though I have some in medium for a more relaxed, longer fit and usually wear a 4/6 in most clothing!

Monogram Monday: Gameday Monograms

After the Hokies amazing win this past weekend over Ohio State, I just had to share these fun maroon and orange monograms for Ashleigh that I made a few weeks ago. I love seeing all of the different state pride shirts during football season, they're a fun way to dress for gameday wearing something that isn't the typical college tshirt! See some more of my Sweet Tea Monograms gameday options below:

Add a little state pride on your pullover with a monogram in your school colors and team name or logo on the collar!

Monogram Monday: Large Monogram Tote

One of my new favorite items in the Sweet Tea Monograms shop is the Large Monogram Tote Bags. They are a great size for overnight packing, carrying STM packages to the post office, or bringing towels and other goodies to the beach! I had to go with hot pink on pink, to go with my navy on navy weekender bag, which this tote often accompanies!

Monogram Monday: Boat Tote

Looking for a no-brainer gift? The Sweet Tea Monogram Boat Totes have been a hit this summer! I love this photo of one that a friend sent me (thanks Caitlin!) from her honeymoon in Rhode Island. Her twin sister ordered the bag for her as a surprise in her new monogram and wedding colors and I love to see that she could put her bag to use to quickly!

Monogram Monday: Fourth of July Sale

These past few days have been incredibly busy but at the same time so. much. fun. I came back up to my hometown (Richmond, VA!) on Friday to celebrate with one of my best friends and her high school sweetheart as they finally tied the knot! I loved getting to spend time with some old and dear friends and see the couple so happy as they finally became husband and wife! If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen plenty of snapshots from their special day!

Now it is almost July and all of the Sweet Tea Monograms Patriotic Bow shirts have been shipped out and should all have arrived at their homes by today (fingers crossed no post office delays!) but luckily the Independence Day celebrations have only just begun! And what better way to celebrate than with a discount code for the Sweet Tea Monograms shop!

Today through Friday July 4th, use code FIREWORKS for 10% off your order!

Monogram Monday: Canvas Weekender

I'm so excited to introduce these monogrammed canvas weekender bags to the Sweet Tea Monograms shop! I have been living out of this bag for the last 8 weekends and because I love it so much, I wanted to include it with the other totes in my shop and am hoping my customers will love it too!

The long strap is great and has a padded part for when I want to throw it over my shoulder, which is always convenient because I'm usually not the lightest packer (I'm sure many of you can relate!) It also comes with leather handles which are nice and sturdy, as well as a small inside zip pocket which is great for packing little odds and ends.

I personally love my weekender bag and highly recommend them to others who are often taking getaways and want a classic, personalized bag for their adventures!

{P.S. The Mott50 dress I'm wearing in the photos above, and highlighted in this post can be 20% off with coupon code FIREWORKS through the 4th of July!}

Monogram Monday: Moon & Lola

It's no surprise that I love a good monogram and Moon and Lola is my go-to store (their shop on King Street is so cute and the girls are the sweetest!) for monogram accessories! I was recently selected as one of their May winners for their #moonandlola contest on Instagram and wanted to share with y'all some of my favorite pieces from them.

My navy acrylic two-letter block monogram necklace is a jewelry staple since I wear so much navy all year round! It's the mini sized monogram and I love that I can wear it alone, or layer it with another necklace. They have so many great color and size options that you can choose from too!

Another Moon and Lola favorite of mine, though it's not actually a monogram, is a piece from their state necklace collection. In their King Street store, they have a bunch of these South Carolina necklaces with a small heart in Charleston. If you're looking for a different city or state though, they can easily customize it just for you!

Monogram Monday and a GIVEAWAY!

Happy Memorial Day y'all! Last summer I offered a limited amount of these adorable patriotic bow monogram tees for the Fourth of July. It's that time of year again and these shirts are making an appearance on my Etsy site again! They will be available to order here until June 4th (or until I hit a certain number of orders) to ensure that I can get them out before July 4th!

Note- most shirts were done with red & white thread, but I chose to use the "sunrise" thread on mine (above) which is more of a coral, so that is always an option too!

And, to celebrate the season and the good old US of A, I'm giving away one of these tees to one lucky reader!

Monogram Monday

I've posted over and over how much I love my monogram Columbia PFG shirts but I'm here today to share that I'm not the only one! This past weekend we celebrated one of my best friends for her bachelorette weekend in Charleston and went out on the boat on Saturday. Little did I know, almost everyone had packed their Sweet Tea Monograms shirts for the trip, so of course we had to have a photo shoot! :)

We all had on different styles (except the two on the end) so I included the link to everyone's shirt!

After seeing these pictures, I'm definitely wishing I could go back to Saturday when I was back out on the water with some of my favorite gals (and guys- thanks Robbie & Grayson for being a great boat captain and first mate!)

Monogram Monday

For today's Monogram Monday post, I am so excited to share one of my favorite items in the Sweet Tea Monograms shop, our monogrammed Columbia PFG shirts! Of course I'm a big fan of this key lime shirt with a big pink monogram, but if that's not your style we have all kinds of other colors to choose from! These can be ordered with a big monogram on the back, a smaller monogram on the front, or they can always be customized with something fun and original like nautical flags or longitude/latitude coordinates on the front (guys love these!)

The weekend before last kicked off the first boat weekend of the summer and I was so excited to be back out on the water, which meant it was also PFG season! Being out on the boat also means lots of extra sun rays that reflect off of the water and since my fair skin is prone to burns, my monogrammed PFG shirts always accompany me on boat rides. Not only are they great to wear as a cover-up, but they also have 30 UPF (stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor... which is basically SPF for clothing) which means I don't have to reapply sunscreen as often! Because the women in my family have a history of melanomas, I have to be extra careful out in the sun - as much as I would love to sit and bake in it all day, I've learned to scope out the shady spots, purchased every and any kind of sunscreen out there, and of course I have all kinds of great self-tanning tips and tricks that I hope to share soon!

This cute Columbia shirt proves that you can still look cute out on the water, at the beach, or anywhere in the sun while still being smart and protecting yourself from the harmful rays of the sun.

Monogram Monday

I am so excited about these Sweet Tea Monograms bright pink tees that have just arrived to the STM shop! On the back is our fun Amanda Bee mason jar logo and the front is blank- just waiting to be monogrammed. The shirts are nice and lightweight for these warmer temps and can be easily accessorized (especially with Lilly!) which is always a plus! ;)

Sizing note: these shirts run a little big... I'm wearing a small in these pictures. I haven't laundered it yet, but I'm assuming it will shrink a little bit after I wash and dry!

Monogram Monday

Happy Monday! Today I'm featuring a customer favorite from the Sweet Tea Monograms shop, our Monogrammed Gingham Columbia PFG shirts!

I've had the clear blue gingham shirts in the shop for the longest and they have for sure been one of our most popular items but I am so excited about the new navy ones and the grape are so cute with a bright thread color.

The shirts can be ordered with a big monogram on the back like the middle example or you can choose a smaller monogram above the pocket (like the grape and navy examples) OR you can even order it with both!

These shirts are some of my favorite to wear in the sunshine because they are very light weight and have UPF 30 sun protection. I have skin cancer history in my genes so am always looking for cute ways to get a little extra sun protection. They are Columbia's "PFG" shirts which stands for performance fishing gear so are made for being out on the water all day!

This time last year I was getting ready for a trip to the Caribbean with my family for my brother's college spring break and my monogrammed PFG was one of my first things packed!

The sleeves on the shirts can be rolled up which is nice when it's really hot! It was a perfect shirt to throw on over my bathing suit with a pair of white shorts. Of course I had to add one of my monogrammed headbands into the mix too!

I wanted to include these pictures to show you the length and the fit of the shirt. For reference I'm wearing a M because I wanted it a little bit more relaxed than a normal button up shirt since I knew I'd be wearing it over my bathing suit.

Hope y'all enjoy my Monogram Monday and let me know if you have any questions about the shirts! Be sure to check out my Monogram Monday next week, I'm excited to start up some March Monogram Madness soon!!

My First Monogram Monday

Happy Monday everyone! This is my first (of many) Monogram Monday posts featuring my embroidery company, Sweet Tea Monograms.

Today I want to share one of my newest items in the shop: Anchor Applique 1/4 Zip Pullover with Lilly Pulitzer fabric.

I'm obviously a bit biased but I love these pullovers! They are a women's cut so they are a nice long and narrow fit, which is very flattering. One of my favorite things about this one is the monogrammed collar- a little more subtle but also makes it personalized. There are a bunch of cute Lilly Pulitzer fabrics to choose from, as well as seersucker and gingham fabrics. You can buy your own pullover here!

I wore this pullover Friday afternoon while running errands and then out to dinner and it was the perfect weight mix of cute and casual, and of course nice and nautical! I know that I will get so much use out of this pullover from layering with a long sleeve shirt now, to throwing on in the summer with a pair of shorts on a cooler night.

There will be some more designs like this in the shop soon for spring so be on the lookout for those new arrivals in the upcoming weeks!
