Happy Howl-o-ween!

I think I've reached crazy dog momma status this week because last night I made some "Howl-o-ween" treats for the pups on Halloween! The whole time Robbie thought I was making regular cookies so he was a little disappointed when they weren't as quite as tasty as he had hoped. Little Lucy on the other hand was ecstatic that she could have them because that lady loves some treats and they smell so good!

They were so easy to make and only contained three ingredients!
Recipe from Kevin & Amanda

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup pure pumpkin puree
1 3/4 cup rice flour (you can use regular wheat flour too)

1. I lined my cookie sheet with a silicon liner and preheated over to 350 degrees F
2. Mix together the peanut butter and pumpkin, then slowly add in the flour

3. Roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper (which I didn't have so I used a large gallon bag with the sides cut) and use your desired cookie cutter to cut out the dough

4. Place the cookies on your cookie sheet and cook for about 10 minutes
5. Let the cookies cool and then let your pup taste test and enjoy!

Lucy approved!

Lucy is still trying to decide what costume she is going to wear on Halloween... her witch hat-

or her tiger costume! (ok so those little ears may be photoshopped since somebody wasn't a fan of the hat the costume came with!)

We hope you have a great Howl-O-Ween!

Lilly Resort + On Sale!

The first delivery of the Lilly Pulitzer Resort line has been released this morning and there are so many great prints and styles as always! Resort is always one of my favorite seasons for Lilly, though it can often be hard to wear some of the cute things unless you are going on a tropical vacay. This season, I love that they have incorporated a lot of navy and black and "wear now" styles! Check out some of my favorite below and shop the new arrivals here!

Our Fall Home

Welcome to our fall home! I've really enjoyed decorating for fall now that we have a house to decorate and it has made me feel more festive for fall!
The wreath was the finishing touch that I picked up this past weekend from Hobby Lobby, mostly because I waited to long to order one of those really cute ones from Etsy! I love how all of the orange pops with our blue (Benjamin Moore Gossamer Blue) front door!

The garden flag was an Etsy purchase and I love that it's the first thing you see when you're walking up to the house!

When you walk in our front door, here is our little entry table- which was a hand-me-down from my parents!  I added a little white pumpkin from Target (sold out online), mini pumpkins on a vine that I found at Kroger last week and a cute little "Trick or Treat" sign for Halloween!

Our built-ins were probably my favorite thing to style in the house and I love how it all has a little story or memory. This sweet Georgia print I just ordered here and is great for our new Savannah home! To get the shelves ready for fall, I added some candy corn to our monogram hurricane and framed a page from one of my old Lilly planners for October and hope to change it out for each month!

How cute is this little guy? Another Hobby Lobby find- I can get into some trouble there!

A lot of the little goodies on our shelves are from Home Goods, though that wood pineapple was brought home from our honeymoon in Antigua so it reminds us of our great trip every time we see it!

See more our fall bar cart that I featured HERE!

Our fall table was one of the first things I put together to get into the fall spirit. Our next door neighbor kindly gave us her extra pumpkin plates and napkins (used on the bar cart). Both are actually already sold out but I love the whole watercolor pumpkin line and added a table runner to make it all cohesive! Add in these adorable pumpkin bakers, my favorite seasonal candle in Sweet Vanilla Cinnamon, and you've got a fall table!

Lastly we have this burlap wreath I made (using this for inspiration) was perfect to frame this Lindsay Letters print that we have in a corner of our kitchen. I think this is a great little reminder for the season, though it may have found a permanent home here! :)

Meet Lucy!

For the last few months (and maybe even years) Robbie and I have known that we've wanted to get a puppy as soon as we had a house with a backyard where he or she could run and play. We've been researching lots of different options and breeds so when we came across a sweet family right outside of Charleston that had a Springer Spaniel puppy ready to come home this week- we knew it was the perfect timing!

We picked up Lucy Sunday night and she quickly won us over with her sweet snuggles and little puppy kisses.

She is curious, loves to use her nose to sniff around the house, thinks that the puppy in the mirror is her new bff, and her favorite places to nap in right by our side.

After 4 nights at home I can happily say that she has finally started to adjust to sleeping in her crate at night (praise hands from her momma and daddy!!!) The first and second night were a little rough but I did some more research on crate training and have been working at getting her more accustom to it so she doesn't whine or bark as much when she goes in. Every time we go in the bedroom (where the crate is) we go next to it, have a little treat (small piece of food), and then go in and get another treat. Basically there are lots of treats involved, but what puppy doesn't love that?!

Lucy already loves to go for walks around the neighborhood! She has lots of energy but after lots of walks and playtime, she also loves to nap- and lay on my lap and get her belly rubbed!

Welcome to the family Lucy! We are so excited for this new stage in our lives as puppy parents!

Some of our favorite puppy products so far:

We've been looking at getting either a gate or playpen for when she starts to explore a little more and when I can't watch her every single second. Any other suggestions for puppy necessities?
