Off the Shoulder Top for Fall

Hope y'all are having a great week! Even though it's fall, I still love to wear my Lilly favorites like the ones I shared in this post a couple weeks ago. I love this navy print because the colors are a little darker and more fall appropriate than most (though I do really love this navy print too!) This off the shoulder top is a bit of a flowy style (I'm wearing a S for reference) so to create a little more of a shape at the waist, I knotted the extra material at the bottom instead of trying a little tuck in the front like I usually do. I can't decide if it's too 90's or not, but I think it works for this top!

Impeccable Pig Styling Night - This Thursday!

Hey Savannah friends! I'm so excited to be hosting a shopping and styling night this Thursday night from 6-8 at the Impeccable Pig at their new Savannah store at 226 W. Broughton Street (next to H&M!)

We'll have fun snacks and drinks along with a 20% discount on full priced merchandise! If you aren't familiar with The Impeccable Pig, it is a clothing boutique based out of Dallas with 19 different locations including Charleston, Charlottesville, and Atlanta- and of course the new store in Savannah!

I've picked out some of my favorites from their website, and the best part is that each item I've picked are all under $70!

I had so much fun last Friday picking out a dress of the event! These three below were my final picks, though they aren't online. Any guesses which one was the winner? Come see me Thursday to find out! :)

Weekend Snapshots

This past weekend was a great one as we celebrated our friends Jason and Chelsea who got married Saturday here in Savannah! The more time we spend here, the more I really do love this city and the people we get to be around!

Got all dressed up to go downtown for the rehearsal dinner Friday night

Gorgeous view from the balcony at Vic's on the River

I spent my Saturday morning and afternoon at this wonderful spot! You may have seen my post on Instagram last week but I could not be more excited to be joining the fabulous team of ladies at the Emily McCarthy Shoppe!

We hosted a bride who was registering for her wedding and brought mimosas on a tray with her custom monogram! Is that not the most amazing monogram you've ever seen?! Emily is so talented!

Saturday after working, I got ready and headed downtown to meet Robbie (who was part of the wedding party) before the wedding. While all of the groomsmen were lined up to get ready for the ceremony, I was the caretaker of the sunglasses! Gotta keep those guys in line haha! ;)

The groom was one of Robbie's best friends since childhood so he was one of the best men and delivered a great speech during the reception! I wish I had his talent for public speaking and story telling! (By the way, he was wearing two pairs of sunglasses because the ones on his head he found after the ceremony and was hoping to be sort of a "walking lost and found" for them! It actually didn't work so now he has the extra pair!)

Scallop Cabana Dress

By now, you all probably know how much I love cute sun protective clothing (especially dresses like this one!) so I was thrilled when Cabana Life reached out to me to pick out something from their site! If you haven't heard of Cabana Life before, they make all kinds of sun protective clothing that can take you from the beach to town, like I'm sharing in this post. All of their items are made with UPF 50+ UV protection through their SkinSafe Technology. Did you know that most light weight clothing is only the equivalent of an SPF 5? You can read more about this and sun safety in Cabana Life's Guide to Sun Protection.

This scallop coral dress is perfect for a day of shopping and lunch since it keeps the sun off my arms and keeps me cool (it is definitely still summer weather here in Savannah!) with the nice lightweight material. It feels almost like workout wear, but looks like a cute shift dress with the laser cup scallop detail. This dress also comes in navy and aqua and the scallop design is available in a long sleeve shirt in a bunch of different colors! You can see all of their cute cover up dresses here. Also, for sizing reference, I'm wearing a medium in the cabana dress.

You may have seen over on Snapchat (heathb115) that Robbie picked up our new boat last week and we were so excited to finally take it out for a ride yesterday! Of course I had to throw on my cabana dress for the day over my bathing suit and, like all of my other UPF dresses, it was great to not worry about extra sunscreen!

Lilly Pulitzer Fall New Arrivals

This time of year is always the hardest for me to figure out what to wear. Since the temperatures still feel like summer, I'm still tempted to wear all of my summery bright Lilly dresses all the time. Meanwhile everyone else is looking so cute in their new fall sweaters, pants, and boots. It's a little tricky to find a middle ground, but I think Lilly's newest fall additions may be just what I was looking for! There are lots of pretty prints with navy backgrounds that don't seem quite so crazy to wear this time of year. I'll probably still keep my white jeans out for a while, but a lot of these tops and styles can easily be worn into the fall with dark jeans (just ordered these that are only $54!) and cute booties (these were my fav last fall!)

I really want to try this jumpsuit, because like last fall, I think jumpsuits are pretty fun transitional piece and it would look so cute with this cashmere sweater when it gets a little cooler. This caftan top and this off the shoulder top are also two of my favorites, I can't decide which one to order!

The best part about the new arrivals is that there are also gifts with purchase today through Sunday! They are giving a makeup brush in the new "Gimme Some Leg" print with a $75 purchase, and a cosmetic case with a $200 purchase.

Parlor Blow Dry Bar Savannah

I was thrilled to find out that a blow dry bar had opened here in Savannah this summer and have been dying to try it out since I walk past it all the time heading to Pure Barre! Parlor Blow Dry Bar has a Wednesday special, $30 blow outs and since I was getting ready to shoot some photos with Andrea for yesterday's blog post, I thought it was the perfect chance to try it out! It was so fun to get pampered by the sweet ladies there!

On the Wednesday that I was there, a new to me local jewelry designer Lauren Milmine was having a trunk show. I had just picked up these pink tassel earrings the previous week at the Emily McCarthy Shoppe and I couldn't wait to meet the lady behind the earrings! She has some really unique pieces and I love these tassel earrings and this statement necklace for fall!

I love the loose curls that my stylist gave me and like I mentioned, loved getting pampered with a shampoo, blow dry, and yummy drink! Parlor uses all Bumble and Bumble products and they not only smell amazing, but feel great in my hair! Since I have a lot of very fine hair and don't normally use a lot of styling products, I hate feeling like I have a ton of "gunk" in it.

It was so nice to already have my hair done when I went to shoot these blog photos, instead of just my usual straight boring hair! If anyone is interested in checking out Parlor, every Wednesday blowouts are only $30 so it's a great chance to try!
