Memorial Weekend

It's officially Memorial Weekend, which is always one of my favorites because it means summer is here!!! Though I know we all love to go celebrate this three day weekend at the beach, with some great friends, and good food & drinks- it's important to remember what the weekend is really about: celebrating and giving thanks to those who sacrifice their lives for ours and our country.

Also, featured on the Today Show yesterday morning, PetSmart has started a special service offering service dogs to veterans called PetSmart for Patriots. They are also contributing $1 of every Patriotic Dog Service (which includes a Patriotic Top Dog Package, Patriotic Puppy Playtime, and Patriotic Treat Time) towards the Canine Companions for Independence Wounded Veterans Initiative.
