Last Year's Looks {Part 2}

Last Year's Looks {Part 1}

Fall in Charleston is very different from fall around the rest of the country... like today for example- we're looking at a forecast high around 80 degrees. Being a warm weather girl at heart, I am not at all complaining about these temperatures but it does make it tricky to dress for "fall" when it's still so warm. Last week it had gotten cooler so I was just getting around to breaking out the riding boots, scarves and jackets when boom, we get this warm wave again!

Because of this transitional period with the temperature, I've gone back to last year's fall/winter looks for a little inspiration. Of course Pinterest and reading other blogs is great inspiration, but there's nothing better than seeing what you've already got in your closet and re-mixing some of your favorite pieces. Charleston Blogger Social

On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending a Charleston Blogger Ice Cream Social at Ro Sham Beaux hosted by the fabulous team at Rutledge Social. It was a busy weekend full of moving (yay for being back downtown!!) so it was nice to take a little break and pop into this gorgeous shop and see lots of wonderful people! We sipped some delicious and creative drinks from Flute (the cucumber lemonade was so refreshing!) and enjoyed some Ye Ole Fashioned Ice Cream. It was great to finally get a chance to meet some of the people we had only "known" online and catch up with some others that I had met before! As you'll see from some photos below, I was smitten with all of the gorgeous chandeliers from Ro Sham Beaux and if you aren't familiar with them, I highly recommend you check them out here or visit the store on Broad Street!

Labor Day Weekend Wear

Labor Day Weekend is now done and gone, though I keep looking back on some of the outfits I wore, which were some of my favorites of the whole summer!
