Charleston Weekend Snapshots

Last weekend, Robbie and I didn't have any plans so we decided to take a spontaneous trip up to our favorite southern city! Though we love our home, neighborhood, and friends in Savannah... we sure do miss life in Charleston. It was great to visit our old favorite places, as well as check off some new spots that have been on my list- like Leon's! It was a quick weekend trip but I wanted to share a few snapshots from the trip!

We got in town Saturday around lunchtime and had to run to Mt. Pleasant for a few things so we stopped and had lunch at Sesame, where I had my favorite "Carolina" chicken sandwich with pimento cheese and sweet potato fries.

Window shopping at Vieuxtemps, one of my favorite gift boutiques on King Street. Natalie, the owner is the sweetest!

King Street on a beautiful sunny afternoon!

This pretty blue swing dress has become a staple in my closet this month, especially during a warm summer afternoon since it's so breezy and cool! I can't wait to share more photos of it on the blog soon!

We met up with Robbie's cousin for oysters and drinks (^^ Lillet Royale) at The Darling Oyster Bar.

It was so fun to try a new place for oysters and The Darling did not disappoint! After drinks we headed down the street to our reservation at O-Ku. Their Salmon & Lemon Roll is hands down my favorite sushi roll and I have been missing it!

After dinner we walked to one of our favorite spots, The Rooftop at Vendue (it was a bit of a walk, hence the nice and glistening skin haha!) One of my best friends was in town for her sister-in-law's bachelorette party and it was so fun getting to see her there, even if it was just for a short time. I'm so excited that I get to see her again Labor Day weekend! I wore this adorable gingham off-the-shoulder top and my favorite new pink tassel earrings, with this straw clutch, all of which will be styled on the blog soon!

Lunch at Leon's!! I have been dying to go here for so long but never got the chance until last Sunday! I ordered the Siam Salad and Robbie had the fried oyster sandwich, which were both delicious!

Lucy pup got a little tired on the walk home from Leon's so her daddy was kind enough to carry her! Spoiled much!? ;) You may also have seen on my Instagram how much she loved the water bowls all the stores had outside!

Before we knew it, it was Sunday afternoon and time to head back home after a fun weekend getaway!

Until next time Charleston!
